Sun. Sep 8 1:00 PM SAN DIEGO - In his Chargers debut, coach Marty Schottenheimer returns to Cincinnati for the first time since the wild Bengals-Browns games of the late ‘80s.
Sun. Sep 15 1:00 PM at Cleveland -  Points have been scarce when the Battle of Ohio goes to The Lake.  The winning team has never scored more than 18 points and the losing team hasn’t scored a touchdown in the last two games at new Cleveland Browns Stadium.
Sun. Sep 22 8:30 PM at Atlanta - In the Bengals’ first prime-time appearance in four seasons, their defense that finished No. 9 in the NFL last season tries to stop Michael Vick for real.
Sun. Sep 29 4:05 PM TAMPA BAY - Former University of Dayton quarterback Jon Gruden works for the first time as a NFL head coach in Cincinnati as the Buccaneers’ new boss.
Sun. Oct 6 1:00 PM at Indianapolis - Jeff Burris, the Bengals new starting cornerback, tries to pick off old Colts teammate Peyton Manning.
Sun. Oct 13 1:00 PM PITTSBURGH - The Steelers bring the NFL’s No. 1 defense in 2001 to town looking to avenge Jon Kitna’s 411-yard passing day in last season’s home finale

Sun. Oct 27 1:00 PM TENNESSEE - With the NFL’s new rotating schedule, how many more times does Cincinnati get treated to a meeting of two first-ballot Hall-of-Fame running backs in Corey Dillon and Eddie George? Last year, Dillon out gained George in two games, 125-111.
Sun. Nov 3 1:00 PM at Houston - The Bengals play a star-studded expansion team (Tony Boselli, Jamie Sharper, Aaron Glenn, Gary Walker) that may be better than the Oilers’ team they beat in 1996 on their last trip to Houston.
Sun. Nov 10 1:00 PM at Baltimore - The Bengals must contend with the return of 1,000-yard running back Jamal Lewis, who  missed all last season with a knee injury, and possibly quarterback-in-training Chris Redman.
